Control Overview...

Electric motors are the mainstay of the industrial and commercial world. They're what keeps things "moving"...!

But simply put, without "controls", (to control them), these movers of the industrial world would be hard-pressed to do their job.

Controls can be as simple as a light switch to turn them on or off, or as complex as a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) with special instructions to have the motor perform certain tasks, at specific times, for a set number of seconds, minutes, hours, days,... (you get the idea)!

In this section of our website, we'll attempt to outline the job of electric control items, the specifics of some of them, and also the complexities of others. We'll get specific on certain controls, and not so specific on others. But we hope to have you leave these pages with a better understanding of Electric Motor Controls, and "the how's and why's" of them.

Mouse over the menu options above, and select what you'd like to study, then navigate to those pages to get the details. And when you're all done, give our sales team a call to discuss your Motor Control project and see just how helpful we can be.
